The Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub is proud to be part of a rich native American and educational heritage. Located in historic Pembroke, North Carolina, home of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, a state recognized tribe and the largest tribe east of the Mississippi River.
The Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub is part of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, the first American Indian state funded school. Founded in 1887 as the Croatan Normal School with a mission to educate American Indian teachers, the institution has maintained its mission to educate a diverse student population.
Today, UNC Pembroke offers several Baccalaureate and Master’s level degrees. The Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub works closely with the UNC Pembroke’s School of Business, which provides access to its faculty, research, and offers entrepreneurship-focused degrees designed to help students pursue their dreams of starting their own businesses.
