Business Plan Basics for All With SBTDC

January 27, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Learn or review the basics of a business plan with Joel Harper from the Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC), during a free workshop at 79° West, a new coworking space and innovation hub.

Joel Harper has MBA from Kenan Flagler Business School. Currently, he’s an EDFP (Economic Development Finance Professional) and a CGBP (Certified Global Business Professional) and provides business counseling services to business owners in a six-county area of central North Carolina.

The SBTDC provides in-depth management counseling and education services designed to help business owners make better decisions to achieving their business goals. Managing a business means making serious and difficult decisions, but you don’t have to do it alone. SBTDC’s management counselors provide one-on-one assistance to help you:

  • Review, confirm and enhance your current plans
  • Discover and evaluate new opportunities
  • Develop new ideas

Unlike consultants who work for businesses, SBTDC counselors are experienced and knowledgeable advisors that work with businesses. They provide information, guidance and feedback to entrepreneurs. Basic counseling services come without charge. Join SBTDC and UNC-Chapel Hill’s Innovate Carolina for this casual coffee session to meet SBTDC counselors, learn the basics of a business plan, and get your specific questions answered.
