Innovative technological advancements, academic research and manufacturing resources will be on full display, including the first exhibition in North Carolina of the Ryse Aerotech Recon, an ultralight electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle with opportunities for you to personally take the craft for a test drive! There will be an unveiling of the new Polaris MRZR Alpha, an off-road, all-terrain vehicle and representatives from numerous defense manufacturing organizations as well as research institutions such as UNC Fayetteville State University, NC State University and Fort Liberty Research Institute to share innovation and advancements in technology in the industry.
The Defense Manufacturing Summit and Exhibition will be hosted by Emerging Technology Institute (ETI), and partners, NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions (IES), Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, and Children of Fallen Heroes. The event will connect manufacturers with Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, regional manufacturers, research and development facilities, manufacturing and academic resources.
Attendees will meet industry leaders, exchange ideas, attend informative sessions, and explore the latest technologies and innovations in the field. The exhibition will feature cutting-edge products and services from top companies in the industry.
There will be vendor networking opportunities from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., informative sessions from 9:00 a.m. until 2:15 p.m., a 9/11 remembrance ceremony including a sky diving exhibition, live technology demonstrations and food trucks on location throughout the day. There is no charge to attend.
